To say the internet is separate from the self at this point in the 21st century would be a very cheeky lie. Through the control of angles and online personas we get to choose how we appear. This newly added layer of digital protection has allowed for the optimization and widespread expression of femininity. How-: ever, I believe that the power that comes from this is only an illusion. In reality,: everyone is now exploited equally, making it appear as though there has been progress in terms of the visibility of female creativity. So where do we turn when our souls are being taken and used against us by the tech corps? We must fight-back in a way that is just as strange. We must dream, and then we must use our dreams to create images. Perhaps in using these creations to spread beauty on the very platforms that don't understand it we can find a way to match the absurdity of our predicament. In this way we can sleep. In this way the exhibition makes sense.

Listed below are a few short stories and allegories to potentially help guide the viewing of the exhibition

Heart Stinky Pillow
She doesn't like to wash her pillow. It seems to suck out all the dreams in a way she has never felt quite right about. Her big eyes open wide, clinging to the soft stinky tattered fabric. What once were heart shaped ornaments have collapsed into pilly blobs. She stuffs her face further into the plush squishiness. Finally she can breathe normally.

My Doll, Computer
My doll computer, oh she is a special one. She has 3000 legs, 1 billion eyes
• and absolutely no self respect. Oh but she's mine. Oh mine. Together we are curious. Together we acquire. Together we are power. Through her eyes I have been able to see myself, but 1 have to look super close to get a good look. It's not your typical view. Though they may not be as clear as a mirror, this sort of reflection is extremely addictive. Eyes are the path to the soul they said. Well I am on that yellow: brick road on mother fuckers.

Lips, an elbow and the amazing kicker
She got lips and elbows and an amazing kicker. She likes lipstick, but only the holographic kind—via Tumbir, 2012. Her elbows are bony but powerful. When she walks across the street, she does so in a very specific fashion. Look at phone, wait. for light to turn green, walk, walk, walk, before the sidewalk glance again at phone, back on the sidewalk now the hip comes out, look left, right, down to phone, continue straight ahead...

Tiny Data Center
Polly pockets used to be my favorite, now I have my mini data center. She is big dont get me wrong, but miniature. I had to make a model of ancient Egypt for my class last week. Though Egypt is of great interest to me, I thought it was more important for my 12 year old peers to understand the beauty of destruc-

All Horned Up
She was the perfect kind of hinge girl. Every frame in every picture on her entire profile, entirely perfect. Not one man, woman or in between could pass her profile up, even if it meant being faced with the ultimate rejection. Even one free rose was a small price to pay, it was worth it for a chance. But she had a secret: she loved unicorns: In fact, for many years she has been the moderator of the very popular unicorn subreddit r/unicorns. She wished and wished every day she could be closer to the mythical beast. Finally she could bear it no longer, so she made a deal with the dating app devil. They made an agreement. One month off of hinge and she could see a unicorn in person. They shook hands and she could already feel a tingling sensation on her forehead
