Our ✨plumbraiser✨ auction is back! Like last year, bidding will take place online via our Instagram @the_plumb. Interested parties can bid on artworks in the comment section of each Instagram post (preferred), send the plumb a Direct Message (DM) us or email us at info@theplumb.ca. All works and the auction schedule are available to view on our website below. Preview the schedule, individual works and be ready to bid the day of!!!
All bids are reflected in CAD and the final checkout will be processed in CAD plus HST. Payment must be made by e-transfer. As a courtesy to the artists and those involved at the plumb, the winning bid will have 24 hours upon issuance of an invoice to remit full payment if necessary. Failure to send payment will result in the artwork going to the next highest bidder. Winning bid excludes shipping/delivery if needed. You can contact us at info@theplumb.ca or through instagram @the_plumb to inquire about the cost of shipping/delivery for a particular piece of work. Arrangements to collect sold work can be made at the plumb after payment has been completed.
How to bid:
Each bidding period will be open 8:00AM EST on the first day of each grouping and close at 8:00PM EST on the second day of said grouping.
Place a bid by writing your name and bid amount in the comments section of instagram (preferred).
If you wish to remain anonymous, you can DM us/ email us at info@theplumb.ca and @the_plumb will comment your anonymous bid on Instagram*.
Instagram comment bids accepted when we (@the_plumb instagram account) “like” the instagram comment with the bid information. Be sure to refresh your screen to check the latest comments for the current bid. Bidding increments differ per work and will be posted on individually per work.
No sniping policy will be in effect for all bids: If two or more parties begin bidding back and forth on a work in the last 5 minutes of a bidding period, the plumb will extend the bidding time for the parties involved until a single bid stands for 5 minutes.
